WODBell Privacy Policy
WODBell Workout Timer is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, what we do not collect, and how your information is used. This policy is available at devinbi.com/wodbell/privacy.
Data We Collect
We collect only the minimum data required to provide and improve the app.
- Anonymous user ID — generated automatically by Supabase; no name or email is ever linked to this ID
- Workout history — format (AMRAP, For Time, EMOM, TABATA, Custom), duration, and date
- Premium subscription status — managed by RevenueCat and matched to your anonymous ID
- Advertising identifier (IDFA) — only if you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt
Data We Do NOT Collect
The following personal data is never collected by WODBell.
- Your name, email address, or any contact information
- Your location or GPS data
- Health data, heart rate, or any biometric information
- Photos, camera, or microphone access
- Contacts or calendar data
- Device identifiers beyond what AdMob uses for advertising (and only with your ATT consent)
Third-Party Services
WODBell uses the following third-party services to function. Each has its own privacy policy.
- Google AdMob — displays ads; uses IDFA only when ATT permission is granted by the user. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
- Supabase — stores anonymous user ID, workout history, and Premium status. Privacy policy: supabase.com/privacy
- RevenueCat — manages in-app purchase and subscription status, linked to your anonymous ID. Privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy
- Apple — processes all in-app purchases and ATT consent. Privacy policy: apple.com/privacy
App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
WODBell asks for your permission before tracking for advertising purposes.
- If you grant ATT permission, Google AdMob may use your IDFA to show personalized ads
- If you deny ATT permission, only non-personalized ads are shown — no IDFA is used
- You can change this permission at any time in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained as long as you use the app.
- Workout history and account data are stored as long as the anonymous account is active
- To request deletion of all data associated with your anonymous account, email support@devinbi.com with the subject 'Data Deletion Request'
- We will process deletion requests within 30 days
Children's Privacy
WODBell is not directed at children under 13.
- We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13
- If we learn that a child under 13 has provided data, we will delete it promptly
- The app is rated 4+ but is intended for users who exercise independently; parental guidance is advised for minors
Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Right of access — you may request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — you may request correction of inaccurate data
- Right to erasure — you may request deletion of your data (see Data Retention & Deletion above)
- Right to data portability — you may request your data in a portable format
- Right to restriction — you may request we restrict processing of your data
